Back from Sudan a little earlier than expected.. have you ever been evacuated from somewhere? It gets easier with practice but is still hard. It certainly adds a new dimension to being "home for the holidays". I arrived on the airstrip to find the shooting just beginning and then there was screaming and running and blood and crying and I watched the plane go flying away. I was there to close her down, mop up the mess and get our people out. I tell you, it is a difficult thing to choose who gets to leave and who must stay. But now we are here for the holidays in Kenya and all is bright and cheery. I can't fathom the hatred that fuels such killings. It is beyond me and so profound.

How's it going? This is the renewing of a, hopefully more consistently updated site for Sengelai. Hope things are all going well for you. I am now back in Kenya after a whirlwind tour of South Africa where Magendo Bros. successfully ran a "klooifing" expedition with fellow Magendo Bro. MRTalley. Heading back into Sudan soon to wrap up some loose ends and prepare for Christmas in the heat of Lui.
In the meantime I am enjoying being back in the Highlands of Kenya and am planning a small safari out to the Loita Hills. Hope this finds you all well. Drop me a line when you get a chance.
cheers

Back from the bush, and have bush eyes, everything is spinning and moving too fast
